Marie Zavilla

A native of Providence, Rhode Island, Marie received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Rhode Island. After moving to Denver, CO, she enlisted in the US Air Force. While enlisted as Medical Laboratory Technician, she completed her Master’s Degree in Management with Troy State University and was ultimately commissioned as a Transportation Officer. Her military career allowed her to live in various parts of the US (Arkansas, California, Florida, Ohio) and Germany, as well as a tour in the Middle East during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After she and her husband retired from the military, they relocated to the Phoenix area in 2001 so that he could continue his aviation career.

Marie earned her AZ Real Estate license in early 2002 and her AZ Real Estate Broker’s license in mid-2005. A strong advocate of continuing education, she has been awarded the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designations by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). She is also recognized as a leader in the practice of Online Real Estate and officially certified as an e-PRO, Internet Professional, by the NAR. As a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), she helps homeowners navigate their choices when they are behind on their mortgage payments and/or they owe more on their mortgage than their home’s present value. Marie’s moral and ethical philosophy in real estate and her personal relocation experiences enable her to build enduring relationships with her clients while helping them "Cross New Thresholds".

For fun…. she and her husband enjoy hiking, traveling, and riding their motorcycles.
